WWII Serviceman's Socks

Pattern:  Generic cuff down/heel flap sock pattern.  Done one at a time on 2 circular needles.  There was quite a bit of yarn in this kit since it was for a large men's sock so I doubled the yarn and came up with a nice/thick/cushy sock.

This is a commemorative kit from the Red Cross... You can purchase directly from the Red Cross.  You will find this in their vintage line for $25.00.  Makes a great gift for a knitter.

Yarn:  Army green, fingering weight yarn that came in the Red Cross Kit.
Needles:  Size 4, 16" circular needles (2). 
Inspiration:  Nothing specific just really liked this vintage inspired kit from the Red Cross.
