Alpaca Shearing at
Adore Alpacas 6/16/07

On Saturday June, 16th I was invited to an Alpaca Shearing at Adore Alpaca Ranch in Hollister, CA. This was my first shearing event of any kind and was so glad that I was able to go and help. I helped gather the fleece, grade and bag them. There were 18 Alpacas most of which were females that were either pregnant or had just delivered and the prias (babies) were adore-able ;-) I did manage to purchase the fleece of Cinnamon the cinnamon colored one in the first 2 photos and fleece at the bottom. So I guess I'll start spinning now.
